Request for BCPO Resources
The Board of Certification for Professional Organizers (BCPO) is actively searching for new books to be
considered for future use by the BCPO Examination Development Team.
As our industry evolves, so will the resources available for future
CPO® examinations. We are anxious to review new materials as they are published, and we want to know if you have
recommendations for the BCPO Reference Library.
The following criteria should be used when submitting new or
revised books or manuals:
- Only books readily obtained through retail outlets (including
Internet) can be considered.
- If you have previously submitted a book/manual, please do not
resubmit unless it is a revised edition.
- There is no guarantee that your book/material will be
used.
- All books will remain part of the Resource Library and will not
be returned.
- Books not on the current suggested resource list may be added
to the list in the future, and conversely, books currently on the
list may be replaced by other books.
- If you are an author, please submit two (2) copies of your
book/material.
- If you wish to recommend another author’s books and/or
materials, please tell us how we may obtain the book.
- If you know of a book that is in the process of being written,
please let us know about it, the expected publication date, and any
other information regarding the book’s availability.
- Do not call or write to ask if your book is being referenced in
future examinations. Any time it is referenced in an exam, it will
be published on the suggested reference list at http://www.certifiedprofessionalorganizers.org/.
- If your book is not on the published suggested resource list,
this means that either the relevant material has already been
referenced in another source, or the book does not contain
references for questions currently being written. Your book will
remain in the BCPO Reference Library to be considered for future
versions of the examination.
As new resources become available, the suggested
resource list may change for subsequent examination periods.
Please send books/materials to:
